Module 2 Personal&Cultural expression

Module 2 Personal & Cultural expression The next step was to incorporate movement in personal and cultural expression. The aim of this module was to use the concept of movement in Art, Theatre, Music or Dance. It was partner school and students' choice which direction they want to pursue according to their skills, preferences and interests.

The idea was forged around reenacting live paintings, pieces of the plays, combining music and dances.

1. Asking - how movement and Art are connected, what can be expressed - videos with ballet, Paintings Parade etc.

2. Research and investigation - narrowing the area of interest, analysing work and life of selected artist or history of a dance or kind of music.

3. Creating their work - showing movement in Art. initially these were supposed to be perfomances, but due to CoVid-19 and online learning, students were allowed to create videos and presentations.

4. Presentations - the presentations were done in groups as well as during a student project meeting in October 2021.

5. Evaluation and Reflection - assessing the process, strengths and weaknesses, areas of improvement.

That was by far the longest period of the project realisation. The COVID-19 pandemic first stopped the project implementation in Spring 2020, and then, due to reocurring waves and different educational regulations in partner countries it was exteremly difficult to follow with Module 2 work at the same pace. Polish group was able to meet online, the Cyprus team was able to renew the work in September 2021, but Greek and Bulgarian teams were having troubles with implementing the project as the standard lessons were given priority. During online coordinator meeting we exchanged the ideas on how to implement some of the content of the project and it was partially successfull as some language or Art lessons were conducted. However, it was difficult for some of the partners to realise all the IBL steps smoothly, but once we new the project would be extened until August 2022, we could calmly proceed with the work in our own pace
