Mobility 3 - Lublin (Jun. 2022)
Countries' common interactions - what do we have from each other? The aim of the activity was to follow through all participant countries' history and culture in order to identify and analyse possible fields of interactions. As there were only two schools present, we also focused on other countries and Ukraine as it was extremely valuable to highlight the importance of this country and the consequences of the war and discuss that with our participants. It helped them to familiarise with the concept of globalisation. Students had the opportunity to collaborate in a multinational environment which gave them new perspectives and ideas. Students researched the areas, analysed the content and presented their findings in forms chosen by the teams(all of them decided to create posters as they felt it would be the best for collaboration) - all the actions were based on Inquiry-Based Learning circle. The activity also included: - presentation of the actions from the third module of project work - integration workshops - cultural field trip - creating the pages on eTwinning - evaluation of the visit All the activities included skills required by national curricula form different subjects eg. increasing civic and historical knowledge, increasing ICT skills, improving language skills as well as promoting cultural heritage and history of the country. Students were able to learn about interactions between their countries and gain the feeling of connection. This will enable them to deepen their understanding of various connections and reasons for interactions which strengthened their global understanding of the world.
